Addressing the stakeholders, Hon. Ndubisi Nwobu expressed his delight at their prompt response to his invitation. He reminded them that unlike past elections where he asked for their support for other candidates, he is now in the race as the Deputy Governorship candidate.
“everyone is expected to redouble their commitment, assisting me in spreading the message and convincing the teeming Anambra people to vote for the John Chuma Nwosu/Ndubisi Nwobu joint ADC ticket to achieve victory in the November 8 election”, he stated.

He admonished party members not to be distracted by empty promises or tempting financial inducements that cannot last longer than 24 hours. Instead, sacrifice a little in order to enjoy much upon achieving victory. Citing the August 16 exercise as a test run, Obuka warned that laxity, especially from those serving as party agents at polling units, will not be tolerated. He urged stakeholders to be brave and prove they cannot be intimidated during the election, citing the example of Chike Nwankwo in Ajalli, Orumba North local government area, who delivered his polling unit for ADC during the Anambra South Senatorial bye-election despite heavy voter inducement and intimidation. Obuka, assured attendees that their hard work for an ADC victory on November 8 will be rewarded. Emphasizing his accessibility, he urged them to call his phone line anytime to offer advice or share useful information.

Also speaking, the DG of the campaign council, Pst. Bonny Okoye, urged attendees to spread the message of the John Chuma Nwosu/Ndubisi Nwobu ticket at every corner of Awka South, ensuring a massive victory for ADC in the Deputy Governorship candidate’s home base.

The Chief of Staff, Rt. Hon. BenChuks Nwosu, eulogized Hon. Nwobu as a man of great character with whom he has worked for many years.
“I will never abandon him until he breathes his last,” he declared, referencing their long political history. He emphasized that November 8 is ADC’s brightest opportunity to clinch power from the APGA-led government and urged people to take decisive steps to institute a government that is people-oriented. Rt. Hon. Nwosu also suggested that the Labour Party may not be on the final ballot due to ongoing leadership and legal tussles.

High point of the event was the donation of one million, five hundred thousand naira (₦1,500,000) by the Deputy Governorship candidate and Thirty Thousand naira (N30,000) by Ms Kachi Anyagha to the local government leadership to help cover logistical expenses at the LG and ward levels.
